The ideals placed on construction in Bogotá have given us an idea of economic progress as towers of residential or office buildings rise in the landscape. Historical images of Bogotá, in which the benefits of modernity were announced, are similar to the moment we live in today.
Transitory Landscapes is an investigation into modernity and how the social, architectural, and urban processes of the city were, seeking to understand its development as a body in constant transit, where the continuity of an urban project has generated its mutations by several superimposed processes that have altered its structure and image. As a result, we find the Bogotá of today. This project seeks to use varied materials and elements that have been present and relevant in the city's history, to bring to memory anecdotes that have affected its population, and to explain the different processes the city has had in its current construction.
