Urban Tessiture

This project comprises a striking series of drawings superimposed on black-painted brick block intaglios. These captivating images showcase the historical evolution of Bogotá during its pivotal phase of territorial expansion as the city endeavoured to establish itself as a modern metropolis. Notably, the artwork not only highlights grand urban projects like the construction of Carrera 10 and the International Center but also captures the everyday activities of the city's populace, illuminating their often overlooked but profound influence on the city's present-day landscape.
